AS/A2 Sociology

Why do Sociology?

If you are interested in finding out how society works and who the winners and losers in it are, then you should consider sociology. At a basic level, sociology is the study of the society around us and our place in it. Whilst everyday life may appear to be random and hectic, behind this it is possible to identify patterns of behaviour. Studying Sociology will make you more aware of the society you exist within and enable you to gain a valuable insight into human social behaviour. For many students, this will be a new and exciting subject and many students choose this course.
