Why do Applied Business?
Would you like to learn how to set up and run your own business? Would you like to solve real-life business problems? If you would prefer to study a business course that involves more coursework than exams and use theory to investigate, for yourself, the operations of real businesses, Applied Business is the course for you! This new and exciting course is vocational in nature, which means that it relates to an area of work – in this case, the business world.
The course develops the knowledge and understanding of the way in which business is organised, financed and operated within local, national and international contexts. This is achieved through a variety of approaches including work placements, links with local organisations, case studies and research.
